It’s a shame when I hear that people feel helpless in their current situations. It tells me that the organization took a wrong turn somewhere, and people were lacking foresight, fo sho. Creating change in any organization is difficult, but it’s clear there needs to be a shift.

In your process of creating these changes, try to find a balance between being a squeaky wheel and keeping a level head. One thing that undermines a rollergirl’s potency is annoying the hell from people in the process. Be strong, don’t give up, and be willing to compromise.
